Job Summary

Lead development for Mastercard Send’s software products that help displace cash by enabling secure, fast transactions. As a senior software engineer on an agile scrum team, design and deliver technical solutions, collaborate with product and architects on technical design, and create proofs of concept and documentation. Oversee code quality through reviews across multiple scrum teams, and contribute hands-on with Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, Oracle SQL, and cloud-native development.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop technical solutions aligned with business requirements and Mastercard standards, processes, and best practices.
•Collaborate with product and architects on product definition, technical design, and development.
•Develop and deliver solutions as part of a scrum team, including design documents and proofs of concepts.
•Perform code reviews across multiple scrum teams to ensure strong coding principles.
•Maintain the aptitude to quickly learn and contribute to the platform.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
•Hands-on expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, and Oracle SQL development.
•Good knowledge of UNIX.
•Knowledge of cloud-native development such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
•Extensive experience designing and developing consumer-facing products with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
