Key Responsibilities

  • •Support model strategy and operations for TikTok Minor Safety, participating in end-to-end model design, optimization, training, and evaluation.
  • •Identify performance gaps and vulnerabilities in models, and propose actions to continuously improve model quality.
  • •Participate in the full data production lifecycle by defining dataset standards, executing model evaluations, and ensuring high-quality data delivery.
  • •Explore and adopt the latest LLM tools to optimize data production workflows for efficiency and scalability.
  • •Research emerging model training methodologies and propose solutions to improve data generalization, production efficiency, and coverage.

Key Requirements

  • •Able to commit to working for 12 weeks in 2026.
  • •Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in computer science, data science, product management, or a related discipline.
  • •Basic understanding or strong interest in large language models (LLMs), including willingness to learn related knowledge and tools (e.g., basic API usage).
  • •Good learning ability, logical thinking, and analytical skills, with the ability to identify problems and propose solutions with guidance.
  • •Preferred: experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, or familiarity with content safety compliance requirements; hands-on experience in data analysis or model optimization is preferred.
