Key Responsibilities

•Support model strategy and operations for TikTok Minor Safety, participating in end-to-end model design, optimization, training, and evaluation.
•Identify performance gaps and vulnerabilities in models, and propose actions to continuously improve model quality.
•Participate in the full data production lifecycle by defining dataset standards, executing model evaluations, and ensuring high-quality data delivery.
•Explore and adopt the latest LLM tools to optimize data production workflows for efficiency and scalability.
•Research emerging model training methodologies and propose solutions to improve data generalization, production efficiency, and coverage.

Key Requirements

•Able to commit to working for 12 weeks in 2026.
•Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in computer science, data science, product management, or a related discipline.
•Basic understanding or strong interest in large language models (LLMs), including willingness to learn related knowledge and tools (e.g., basic API usage).
•Good learning ability, logical thinking, and analytical skills, with the ability to identify problems and propose solutions with guidance.
•Preferred: experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, or familiarity with content safety compliance requirements; hands-on experience in data analysis or model optimization is preferred.
