Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead mechanical cost management, estimating, quantity surveying, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Develop and maintain cost plans, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections for large-scale advanced manufacturing construction projects.
  • •Review design documentation and collaborate with engineering, design, and construction teams to evaluate cost impacts and identify value engineering opportunities.
  • •Prepare, review, and reconcile cost estimates through all phases of design and construction, including cost checks, audits, valuations, and benchmarking.
  • •Estimate, evaluate, and negotiate change orders; coordinate and validate contractor pricing and supplier/subcontractor quotations, and produce monthly cost reports and client presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •3+ years of cost management, quantity surveying, estimating, or commercial management experience within the construction industry.
  • •Experience supporting large-scale industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, advanced technology, and similar complex construction projects.
  • •Strong mechanical construction knowledge, including HVAC systems, process piping, utility infrastructure, mechanical equipment, and related building systems.
  • •Proficiency preparing estimates, cost plans, change orders, valuations, and cost reports; plus tools such as Excel, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and CostX (or similar platforms).
