Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain accurate, efficient regulatory reporting datasets to support licensing, audit, and external partnership obligations.
  • •Automate reporting workflows to minimise manual intervention and enable self-service for end users.
  • •Design and deliver clear data visualisations for periodic summaries, control results, trends, and variances.
  • •Develop robust data quality controls integrated into automated workflows with monitoring and alerting.
  • •Collaborate with regulatory, prudential, finance controllers, and cross-functional teams to map regulations to internal data and resolve data discrepancies and control findings.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced SQL to build efficient, readable queries across extraction, transformation, and DDL/DML operations.
  • •Hands-on dbt experience, including materialisation strategy trade-offs and data quality testing.
  • •Experience with a modern data warehouse such as Snowflake and comfort working with high-volume data.
  • •Python proficiency (strongly preferred).
  • •Proficiency with data visualisation tools such as Looker, Lightdash, or Superset, plus a demonstrable understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
