Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop Allianz Suisse target data architecture, and lead transformation of the Core Data Warehouse into a “One Source of Truth” architecture.
  • •Drive end-to-end migration from on-prem DWH to Databricks and cloud-native tool stacks.
  • •Own the strategic roadmap through sprint execution, including cross-team roadmap synchronization and dependency management.
  • •Collaborate with business Product Owners to shape a shared product vision and roadmap for data products.
  • •Lead multiple teams simultaneously, define roles/decision boundaries, resolve architectural trade-offs, and embed an AI-first working approach.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong knowledge of DWH architectures and Databricks/Lakehouse concepts to challenge and take ownership of key design decisions.
  • •Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT, SQL and Python to support architecture-level discussions and delivery.
  • •Practical, production use of AI tools for pipelines, code generation, or data quality—understanding where human control is needed.
  • •Experience leading multi-year, cross-functional programs and turning ambitious roadmaps into deliverable step sequences.
  • •Fluent, confident communication in secure stakeholder environments at senior management level, in German and English.
