Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and enforce manufacturing, integration, assembly, welding, NDE, cleanliness, and checkout processes across work centers.
  • •Design and implement tooling for work access, testing, build fixturing, lifting & rigging, and fluids.
  • •Define and document inspection requirements and procedures.
  • •Create training and author planning/test plans to execute processes and collect data for stable quality at higher production volumes.
  • •Lead build quality reviews, drive corrective actions, and partner with quality/production/design to manage non-conforming hardware and improve DFM/requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials engineering, manufacturing engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or engineering physics.
  • •1+ years in manufacturing, quality, and/or design engineering (student project team or internship experience qualifies).
  • •Experience with build/assembly/integration of aerospace structures, avionics, valves, fluid system components, actuators, thermal protection systems, or other aerospace components.
  • •Mechanical tooling or component design with design-for-manufacturability experience.
  • •Proficiency with 3D CAD (NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA) and knowledge of welding and NDT processes.
