Job Summary

Support deposition processes for semiconductor fabrication in a cleanroom at the Andover foundry. Work with gallium arsenide, gallium nitride, and III-V focal plane array production by reviewing lots and wafers, performing failure analysis, and assisting with tool/process qualification. Provide engineering support and training to manufacturing personnel, troubleshoot issues on the floor, and help reduce rework and scrap while improving efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Support deposition-related processes for semiconductor products fabricated in the Andover foundry.
•Review and disposition lots and wafers requiring special handling or evaluation in the work center.
•Perform failure analysis of tools and processes and support tool and process qualification efforts.
•Provide engineering support and training to manufacturing personnel to reduce rework and scrap and increase efficiency.
•Communicate with manufacturing personnel, equipment teams, cell leads, and engineering leads and be present on the manufacturing floor to resolve issues quickly.

Key Requirements

•Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
•Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience with semiconductor processing techniques.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance, with U.S. citizenship required.
•Basic understanding of microelectronics deposition processing techniques.
•Strong communication skills and ability to work in small cross-functional teams with organized, documented processes.
