Job Summary

Support the enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance team by driving IT and cybersecurity control assurance. You’ll coordinate SOX/MAR IT attestations, gather and review audit evidence, and track control performance. Key Responsibilities

•Install, configure, administer, and analyze information security technologies, controls, and practices to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
•Detect, monitor, alert, report on, and respond to vulnerabilities, threats, risks, and incidents.
•Support cybersecurity governance and IT risk management by coordinating SOX/MAR IT attestations and ensuring operating effectiveness of IT and cybersecurity controls.
•Perform GRC activities including IT risk assessments, control testing, issue/remediation tracking, policy/standards governance, and metrics reporting.
•Develop and present reports, dashboards, and audit evidence to stakeholders up to leadership; provide security awareness support and recommendations for improving security posture.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, MIS, Cyber Security, Risk Management) plus 2 years of related experience; or associate degree plus 4 years; or high school diploma/equivalent plus 6 years, with relevant prep programs considered.
•Foundational knowledge in at least one information security discipline and in at least one IT domain (analysis, engineering, system administration).
•Ability to gather, review, and organize audit evidence and assess control effectiveness, identify gaps, and support remediation activities.
•Knowledge of frameworks and regulations such as SOX/MAR, NIST CSF, NYDFS Part 500, or CIS Controls.
•Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and to work/participate in on-call rotations and support incident handling outside regular hours as needed.
