Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct the planning, strategic goals, and objectives of the Quality Control department.
  • •Perform managerial duties for supervised employees, including coaching/counseling, hiring, terminating, and development.
  • •Ensure syrups, ingredients, and product testing follow Pepsi-Cola North America guidelines.
  • •Maintain current regulatory knowledge and keep accurate records.
  • •Lead the plant’s Food Safety Team; serve as local resource for regulatory and third-party audits and oversee FSMS implementation and management.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science (or related field) and five (5) years of Quality Control experience, including two (2) years lab supervisory experience.
  • •College-level chemistry experience.
  • •Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).
  • •Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong oral and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • •Complete the Quality Leadership Training Program and Forklift/Powered Industrial Truck Certification; be able to travel 10%.
