Key Responsibilities

  • •Write and debug kernel-level C code for Linux kernel modules, Windows kernel drivers, and eBPF programs.
  • •Own end-to-end debugging of production issues, including kernel crashes and low-level system failures, with root-cause analysis and post-mortems.
  • •Act as technical lead for a small team by reviewing critical kernel/eBPF code and mentoring engineers.
  • •Unblock complex issues and guide key technical decisions affecting kernel-level product direction.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of production C experience, primarily at the kernel or driver level.
  • •Proven production experience with Linux kernel, Windows drivers, or eBPF, ideally across multiple areas.
  • •Hands-on eBPF experience including writing programs, working with the verifier, and ensuring cross-kernel portability.
  • •Strong kernel fundamentals: concurrency, memory safety, and low-level debugging.
  • •Experience with kernel software operations such as driver signing, Secure Boot, cross-kernel compatibility, and CI for multi-version environments.
