Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, coordinate, and implement process sampling systems, statistical techniques, and quality systems with minimal supervision.
  • •Define and implement quality standards and procedures for manufacturing processes, and execute quality management system development and improvement.
  • •Analyze quality metrics and statistical data to recommend and implement process improvements; prepare corrective action reports and support elimination of root causes.
  • •Provide technical support and training to operations, employees, and suppliers; guide cross-functional process improvement teams and less experienced engineers.
  • •Host and support source inspectors and customer audits, supervise quality personnel as needed, and ensure supplier risk mitigation and closure of WISPER 8Ds.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 3 years of manufacturing experience, or 10 years manufacturing experience in lieu of the degree requirement.
  • •Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and requirements.
  • •Knowledge of machining, assembly operations, gauging, SPC, APQP, and quality assurance systems (ISO 9001, AS9100).
  • •Experience performing quality audits and leading audits to ensure compliance to defined quality requirements.
  • •Knowledge of problem-solving methods (Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis) and statistical tools for analyzing and completing improvement projects.
