Job Summary

Lead and coordinate a team of field service technicians supporting aircraft product rework, installation support, and supplier modification upgrades. Plan and oversee policy deployment aligned to business objectives, set daily goals to meet production milestones, and ensure compliance with Collins, Boeing, and FAA requirements. Develop and counsel direct reports, drive cost-reduction initiatives, and partner with Boeing Supplier Management, Collins manufacturing, and engineering to resolve technical and design issues.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan, develop, implement, and oversee policy deployment actions aligned with business plan objectives and targets.
•Manage technician performance, including how assignments are completed, and set day-to-day goals to meet operational and production targets.
•Develop direct reports through counseling, mentoring, and leading by example.
•Ensure adherence to Collins, Boeing, and FAA policies and practices, and maintain a compliance culture across Global Trade, EHS, Ethics, and Quality.
•Coordinate cross-functional work to resolve technical problems and design issues, including support for modifications, field trials, and customer-facing meetings.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
•Proven leadership experience, with strong motivation, people development, and decision-making skills.
•Experience/knowledge across EH&S, people development, regulatory, quality, operational, technical, and financial requirements.
•Prior field support and supervisory experience preferred.
•Aviation/aerospace experience and assembly/installation experience in the aerospace industry preferred.
