Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Forge Forward Deployed Engineering function with executive leadership, delivery standards, and operational accountability for AI capability deployment across Truist business lines.
  • •Define and execute the forward deployment strategy, including scoping, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, enablement, and sustained support in each business environment.
  • •Build and develop a high-performing forward deployed engineering team through hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, career development, and culture investment.
  • •Manage the business line deployment pipeline, covering intake, prioritization, scoping, integration engineering, go-live readiness, and post-deployment support.
  • •Partner with Forge product/platform, agentic, application, data, security, and QA teams to ensure capabilities are deployment-ready and integration-tested before reaching business lines.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent combination of advanced education and related experience, including substantial experience managing software engineers/systems analysts and budget responsibilities.
  • •Translate enterprise strategy into software and data management needs, create business plans, and deliver effective business solutions.
  • •Executive-level communication skills, including negotiation/facilitation/presentation and experience negotiating with vendors.
  • •Strong knowledge of current/emerging application software products and tools, plus extensive project management for large, on-time, within-budget delivery.
