Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and direct design consultant teams to evolve design in line with project requirements and approved program, ensuring contractual compliance.
  • •Develop and manage internal and external stakeholders to keep milestones and delivery on schedule.
  • •Ensure delivered designs are fully buildable and safe to construct, assessing contractor-initiated design changes for viability, coordination, compliance, and alignment with briefs and operator requirements.
  • •Lead and manage the design approval process, securing endorsements, integrating approved changes, and maintaining transparent, well-documented governance.
  • •Provide proactive leadership for design-related risks and lead Safety in Design activities, including facilitating and tracking SiD workshops across the lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor qualification in Architecture, Building, Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • •15+ years of relevant professional working experience.
  • •Registered Engineer/Architect (optional).
  • •Ensure designs comply with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • •Provide Safety in Design and governance leadership across the project lifecycle.
