  • •Complete engineering projects including mechanical building systems troubleshooting and building control systems support.
  • •Manage projects from design through bid cycle, construction project management, and project closeout.
  • •Perform project estimating and scheduling, and develop heating/cooling system designs with heat-load calculations and equipment sizing.
  • •Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, electrical, structural, civil, IT, and security disciplines and prepare diagrams, sketches, drawings, and bid documents.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8+ years of experience in building mechanical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent combination of experience and schooling).
  • •8+ years of working knowledge of building mechanical systems including boilers, refrigeration, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, fan coil units, VAV systems, compressed air, nitrogen and liquid nitrogen systems.
  • •Experience with construction project management, including customer scoping, budget monitoring, schedule development, contractor coordination, commissioning, and close-out.
  • •Ability to write clear technical engineering specifications, reports, and operating procedures.
  • •Working knowledge of ASHRAE, SMCNA, and state building codes (preferred).
