Key Responsibilities

•Build and run a communication tiering mechanism with proactive trust baseline cadence, major launch alignment, and thematic deep-dive references.
•Drive cross-functional pre-launch alignment with PR/GR/Legal by defining risks and setting communication prerequisites (Help Center articles, FAQs).
•Shift the team from reactive fact-collecting to proactive proposition-setting on safety philosophy narratives, supported by product facts.
•Translate complex product mechanics into human-centric communications for press and policy audiences; keep a living safety design philosophy document aligned to product decisions.
•Serve as strategic product-side single point of contact for PR/GR/Legal during required communications, inquiries, and crisis response; coach PMs on narrative construction and stakeholder communication.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in Trust & Safety, Policy Communications, Public Affairs, or Product Marketing within a social media platform.
•Demonstrated ability to translate highly technical product logic into persuasive, human-centric narratives; writing samples required.
•Depth in at least one safety & compliance vertical (e.g., Minor Safety, Content Integrity, AI Safety) and fluency with a major global safety regulatory regime (e.g., UK OSA/OFCOM, EU DSA, US state-level regimes).
•Track record of driving cross-functional initiatives (Product, Comms, GR, Legal) without direct authority.
•Fluency in written and spoken Chinese to manage stakeholders in the Chinese market.
