Job Summary

Drive net new business growth for Financial Services & Insurance clients by identifying and pursuing high-potential digital transformation deals across banking, insurance modernization, payments, risk, compliance, customer experience, data, and AI-driven operating models. Prospect, build relationships, and manage a strong pipeline from proposals and statements of work through commercial negotiations and contracts, partnering with Microsoft and strategic partners while acting as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Focus on Financial Services & Insurance Industry clients, including banking, insurance, capital markets, payments, and other financial institutions.
•Identify high-potential transformation deals across digital banking, insurance modernization, payments, risk, compliance, customer experience, data, and AI-driven operating models.
•Drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring, and developing strategic relationships with Financial Services Industry clients.
•Work with Microsoft and other strategic partners to originate opportunities and position Avanade’s industry-relevant solutions for financial services organizations.
•Build, qualify, and manage a growth pipeline including proposals, statements of work, commercial negotiations, and contracts.

Key Requirements

•Experience selling across multiple Microsoft solution areas (Apps & Infra, Modern Workplace, Business Applications, Data & AI), ideally in enterprise-scale consulting for FSI clients.
•Track record working with Microsoft and other strategic partners to grow business within complex financial services accounts.
•Ability to anticipate client needs, identify barriers, and deliver effective solutions in highly regulated, matrixed, complex FSI environments.
•Proven success as a business development hunter with strong closure capabilities and a record of growing revenue in Financial Services accounts.
•Experience driving consultative, solutions-based sales at C-suite level across banking, insurance, or broader financial services organizations.
