Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide SAP Basis and security technical support for traditional AMS services, handling tickets and support projects.
  • •Support ECC/PI/BW/APO/GATP BODS systems, including system landscape design, setup, reorganization, and standard operating procedures for backups/restoration.
  • •Plan and execute upgrades and maintenance: support packages, kernel patch upgrades, client copies/transports, and database upgrades with validation and performance recommendations.
  • •Perform backup/restore and operational administration tasks including SAP installation/re-installation, offline/online backups, redo logs management, and DR standby monitoring.
  • •Lead SAP Basis operations and escalations; guide Basis support personnel; manage SAP security role creation/assignment and authorization management based on best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years of hands-on SAP Basis and Security support experience, including support projects, upgrade, and OS/DB migration.
  • •Minimum 1 end-to-end BW implementation experience and expertise in handling AMS projects/tickets.
  • •Knowledge of system development methodology, project management, and system architecture, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • •Experience with SAP Basis administration activities such as support packages/kernel patch upgrades, backups/restores, SAP Logon groups, and client copies/transports.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot escalated calls and configure SAProuter/OSS, including system landscape and operating procedure definition.
