Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and drive best-practice mental health claims strategies, including design, monitoring, and progression of psychosocial claim initiatives.
  • •Conduct strategic analysis of claim portfolios and cohorts to identify opportunities and build implementation plans to improve claims performance outcomes.
  • •Coach and upskill Return to Work Specialists and claims teams on early psychological claim review and related specialized guidance.
  • •Develop and deliver mental health training and resources for internal teams and employer clients, promote mentally healthy workplaces, and escalate injury prevention opportunities.
  • •Partner with internal SMEs and external experts to implement the mental health strategy, contribute to tenders, and represent Allianz’s expertise at conferences and industry events.

Key Requirements

  • •Allied Health degree (preferably in a mental health discipline) with hands-on experience in injury management, occupational rehabilitation, claims management, and/or return to work.
  • •Proven ability to lead, coach, and empower individuals and teams, making sound independent and collaborative decisions with accountability.
  • •Strong communication skills delivering engaging presentations and working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • •Ability to identify adverse trends, develop remediation plans, and manage competing priorities and resources effectively.
  • •Demonstrated capability using systems, software, databases, reporting tools, and communication platforms relevant to the role.
