Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive repair orders and perform work as outlined on repair orders in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • •Diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, and determine whether additional safety or service work is needed.
  • •Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts and save/tag parts for warranty or customer requests.
  • •Document all work performed and road-test vehicles when required (or refer to the test technician), without personal use of customer vehicles.
  • •Supervise apprentice technicians, attend factory training, follow safety policies, keep the shop and vehicles clean, and account for dealership-owned tools.
