Job Summary

Manage on-site day-to-day operations for a north Austin data center as the primary leader for deploying and maintaining highly complex AMD Instinct platforms that enable release of state-of-the-art technologies. Lead personnel responsibilities for data center engineers and technicians, run daily communication focused on system availability, apply root-cause and debug methodologies, and provide recommendations to drive organizational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•On-site management of a data center site with a vast array of different platforms/systems.
•Manage personnel and assigned work for data center engineers and technicians.
•Run clear and concise daily meetings focused on system availability.
•Use knowledge of root-cause requirements and debug methodologies to address technical issues.
•Provide leadership input and recommendations for improvements and organizational initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 129,640 - 222,240 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelors degree in engineering.
•Experience managing a data center, preferably in the GPU system space, with 500+ systems/platform.
•Ability to communicate updates on the state of the fleet and ensure the team is working on deployment and availability.
•Knowledge of root-cause requirements and understanding/mapping debug methodologies.
•Experience solving issues involving capacity planning, power, thermal, networking, and clustering.
