Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain the Multigres Operator, a Go-based Kubernetes operator for orchestrating distributed Postgres deployments.
  • •Design and implement robust cloud deployment patterns for EKS and other Kubernetes platforms.
  • •Manage storage and networking layers using CSI drivers, persistent volumes, and cross-cloud networking to ensure reliability and connectivity.
  • •Develop deployment tooling and automation for provisioning, scaling, and managing Multigres clusters.
  • •Ensure operational excellence by building monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic capabilities into the deployment layer.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency in Go and experience building production-grade operators/controllers.
  • •Hands-on Kubernetes expertise, including custom resources and cloud-managed Kubernetes services (EKS, GKE, AKS).
  • •Knowledge of database deployment patterns including backup/restore, replication, and high availability.
  • •Familiarity with distributed systems concepts such as consensus protocols, failure scenarios, and resilience.
  • •Experience with cloud-native deployment tooling and infrastructure as code, including Terraform or Pulumi and cloud provider APIs.
