Key Responsibilities

  • •Wire, assemble, fit, and mount sub-assemblies, components, and fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment.
  • •Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards to customer specification using electrical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and work instructions.
  • •Perform assembly required for test preparation and conduct final inspection, including using power checking procedures to verify electrical/mechanical integrity.
  • •Inspect and test finished products to maintain quality standards and ensure conformance with specifications and codes.
  • •Perform Lean initiatives and maintain equipment, tools, and work area per 5S guidelines; cross-train and flex across functions as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum one year of experience in an assembly-related role using hand and/or power tools, or completion of a one-year technical school diploma from an accredited institution.
  • •Experience reading and using wiring diagrams, schematics, and power flow to install correct wires.
  • •Experience using measuring tools, torque tolerance, and hardware assembly.
  • •Ability to lift 35 lbs. regularly and work overtime as required.
  • •Ability to interact in a small team, follow manufacturing drawings/instructions, and actively participate in health and safety practices and training.
