Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end deployment of RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters on private hardware.
  • •Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code pipelines to automate server provisioning, OS hardening, and application deployment.
  • •Troubleshoot and act as escalation point for complex networking, storage, and container orchestration issues.
  • •Implement security and compliance best practices (CIS hardening, SELinux) for air-gapped or highly secure on-premise environments.
  • •Optimize Linux kernel parameters and network configurations for high-throughput, low-latency public safety applications.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with heavy focus on on-premise environments.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •Production-grade experience deploying and maintaining Kubernetes or RedHat OpenShift clusters on bare-metal or virtualized private hardware.
  • •Advanced Linux Administration skills, including debugging across storage, networking, and process management.
  • •Hands-on data center networking and automation experience using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
