Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventive maintenance (e.g., oil/oil filter/fuel filter, transmission flush) and inspect vehicles for mechanical deficiencies.
  • •Conduct advanced vehicle diagnostics and perform light and major repairs, including complex systems such as brakes, suspension, electrical, emissions-related work, HVAC, and hydraulics.
  • •Maintain shop safety standards, dispose of fluids properly, and keep the shop area clean and tidy.
  • •Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records, including upfitting vehicles with required equipment.
  • •Coordinate with vendors for parts/repairs to assure prompt service; may perform roadside assistance and custom equipment fabrication/design tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 5 years’ related experience, with alternative combinations of certification/education and 3+ years’ experience considered.
  • •Master-level Technician experience across light-duty through Class A/heavy trucks and multiple vehicle/mechanical applications, with advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • •Ability to maintain current Master Level ASE certification (preferred) and continue training to keep certifications current.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File; safe driving and frequent vehicle entry/exit.
  • •Working knowledge of DOT/CDL requirements, including a current valid DOT medical card (or ability to complete DOT physical as required).
