Job Summary

Lead and coordinate lighting design projects within the Lighting and Energy Solutions team, overseeing feasibility studies, design layouts, and documentation for infrastructure and urban projects. Manage proposals, milestones, budgets, and client engagement, while mentoring junior staff in a global lighting network and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Liaise with colleagues within the Lighting and Energy Solutions team, wider multi-disciplinary design teams, stakeholders and clients.
•Coordinate detailed design layouts, engineering drawings and support documentation in line with QA and client requirements.
•Manage feasibility reports, technical notes, optioneering reports and specifications.
•Oversee development of project proposals and progression against programme milestones and budget constraints.
•Engage with Local Authority and Strategic Road Network clients to build strong working relationships.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (or equivalent).
•Experience leading lighting design projects from conception to construction with software such as Lighting Reality, Dialux and AutoCAD.
•Strong knowledge of external lighting design standards, guidance, legislation and regulations.
•Experience in lighting maintenance operations and asset management.
•Proven ability to manage project proposals, budgets and timelines and to mentor junior team members.
