Key Responsibilities

  • •Liaise with colleagues within the Lighting and Energy Solutions team, wider multi-disciplinary design teams, stakeholders and clients.
  • •Coordinate detailed design layouts, engineering drawings and support documentation in line with QA and client requirements.
  • •Manage feasibility reports, technical notes, optioneering reports and specifications.
  • •Oversee development of project proposals and progression against programme milestones and budget constraints.
  • •Engage with Local Authority and Strategic Road Network clients to build strong working relationships.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (or equivalent).
  • •Experience leading lighting design projects from conception to construction with software such as Lighting Reality, Dialux and AutoCAD.
  • •Strong knowledge of external lighting design standards, guidance, legislation and regulations.
  • •Experience in lighting maintenance operations and asset management.
  • •Proven ability to manage project proposals, budgets and timelines and to mentor junior team members.
