Job Summary

Deliver technical pre-sales support to prospects and accounts for Algolia’s AI search platform. Lead solution fit through discovery, demos, proofs of concept, and RFP responses, while demonstrating product architecture and addressing objections. Translate customer goals into technical and consultative recommendations, advocate customer feedback to Product and Engineering, and collaborate with Account Executives, Solution Architects, and Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

•Work with Sales teams and prospects to support evaluation and adoption of Algolia solutions.
•Conduct technical discovery and provide technical demos, proofs of concept (POCs), and RFP responses.
•Demonstrate product and architecture while overcoming objections with creative, consultative solutions.
•Understand customer goals and distill technical concepts into business value; validate technical and functional fit using Algolia ecosystem resources.
•Advocate customer interests by relaying needs and product feedback to Product and Engineering, and support transition to post-sales onboarding.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 149,500 - 193,500 annually

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (SE, SA, consultant, PM), ideally in SaaS.
•Software development experience in one or more of: JavaScript, TypeScript, React; Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python; Swift/Objective-C.
•Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written form with technical and business audiences.
•Strong organizational skills for managing multiple customers and switching context quickly.
•Demonstrated focus on solving customer problems.
