Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling to adults, children, and youth of service members and their families.
  • •Deliver training and health/wellness presentations and participate in base activities to support program goals.
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily via smartphone or web application and ensure confidentiality and accurate reporting.
  • •Collaborate with installation POCs and school personnel to ensure services are within scope and meet installation needs.
  • •Support MFLC services in military community and school settings, including surge/on-demand assignments.

Key Requirements

  • •Master's Degree in Behavioral Health or Social Work (or equivalent) and independent practice licensure in Massachusetts (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT)
  • •Ability to accept assignments with short notice, including weekends
  • •Experience working in school settings or with DoDEA/non-DoDEA school environments
  • •Ability to prove US Citizenship and fluency in English
  • •Current licensure/certification requiring independent practice and ability to meet state requirements
