Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary legal partner for TrendLife’s consumer product and business teams, advising on product development, feature launches, go-to-market strategy, and commercial agreements from inception through execution.
  • •Draft, review, and negotiate consumer-facing agreements including EULAs, Terms of Service, subscription agreements, and platform partner contracts.
  • •Draft, review and negotiate commercial vendor/partner agreements.
  • •Review in-app disclosures, consent flows, and marketing materials for legal accuracy and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • •Support app store submissions and ongoing compliance with platform requirements (Apple App Store, Google Play, and regional equivalents).

Key Requirements

  • •J.D. or equivalent law degree; license to practice law in at least one relevant jurisdiction.
  • •8–10 years of legal experience with a substantial focus on consumer-facing software, mobile applications, or digital products — in-house experience at a technology company required.
  • •Deep expertise in at least two major global privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, APPI) with demonstrated ability to advise across multiple jurisdictions simultaneously.
  • •Extensive experience drafting and negotiating EULAs, Terms of Service, and consumer product agreements, with sound independent judgment on when to escalate versus resolve.
  • •Demonstrated track record of building strong, trust-based relationships with senior business and product stakeholders — not just advising, but partnering.
