Key Responsibilities

•Support manufacturing operations by creating complex manufacturing sequences that convert raw materials into quality finished products.
•Analyze engineering prints and requirements to determine efficient, cost-effective methods and create process plans/routings, instructions, and procedures.
•Specify machines, routings, stages of operation, tools, and component parts; request purchase or design of additional tooling as needed.
•Develop preliminary cost estimates for product feasibility studies and assist with establishing selling prices.
•Create, validate, and release complex numerical control programs; resolve planning/programming issues with other departments and provide manufacturability direction for improvements.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 4 years of experience in methods analysis and NC programming.
•Ability to analyze engineering prints and specified requirements to develop process plans/routings and manufacturing methods.
•Experience creating complex numerical control (NC) programs and validating program accuracy prior to release to the shop floor.
•Knowledge of specifying machines, routings, stages of operation, tools, and component parts, including requests for additional tooling.
•Experience using manufacturing software packages such as SAP, MATRIX, Factory Planner, Solidworks, AutoCAD, and ESPRIT/UniGraphics.
