Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation frameworks for Unix platforms at scale.
  • •Build and manage IaC pipelines for provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
  • •Standardise and automate Unix builds, patching, upgrades, and compliance enforcement.
  • •Integrate automation with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and service management platforms.
  • •Lead platform modernisation and use automation to analyse, resolve, and prevent complex platform issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record implementing Ansible at scale across Unix/Linux estates.
  • •Experience building end-to-end automated pipelines (build, config, patch, deploy).
  • •Hands-on Infrastructure as Code and GitOps methodologies using Git and automation tooling.
  • •Strong Unix/Linux system administration and patching/lifecycle automation experience.
  • •Experience transforming legacy/manual operational processes into automated workflows and defining automation strategy, standards, and reusable frameworks.
