Job Summary

Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical needs for strategic projects supporting Athene’s Policy admin system (ALIP). Lead most or all analysis for medium-to-large scope programs, coordinating with business and IT stakeholders while partnering with Product Owners to define requirements and acceptance criteria. Translate user needs into user stories, drive business process redesigns, and manage ambiguity, urgency, and risk to deliver improvements across multiple business areas.

Key Responsibilities

•Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical needs for projects encompassing the ALIP Admin system and downstream integrations with impacted systems.
•Lead analysis efforts for assigned programs/projects, coordinating the work of other business system analysts as needed.
•Facilitate interviews and coordinate across business and technology partners to identify comprehensive needs and interdependencies.
•Capture user requirements and acceptance criteria from business partners, translating them into user stories for product teams.
•Partner with Product Owners to identify enhancements and facilitate business process redesigns; participate in RFI/RFPs as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education and work experience (military experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
•5+ years of progressive business system analysis experience, including 3+ years as a Business System Analyst within an Agile framework.
•Preferred: ALIP application and related downstream system knowledge.
•Proficient in business analysis concepts including business process modeling (BPM), context diagrams, use cases, and user stories.
•Proficiency with requirements elicitation, project scoping, requirements analysis, and project planning activities; knowledge in annuity domain is preferred.
