Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities, identify strengths and weaknesses, and determine improvement steps.
  • •Engage, coach, develop, and manage performance of hourly associates; provide feedback and demonstrate desired skills.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory; repair or reject inventory in partnership with the Inspection Center General Manager based on estimated repair cost and vehicle quality.
  • •Train associates using Quality Control standards to complete repairs effectively the first time and minimize re-checks, re-work, delays, and prevent hazardous conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Experience using computers.
  • •At least 18 years of age.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process and understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years).
