Job Summary

Design and develop algorithms for end-to-end video quality improvement across video production, processing, delivery, and consumption. Work on video analysis and quality assessment, build and optimize strategies combining analysis, processing, and encoding, and apply models for VOD/live streaming monitoring and objective evaluation. Key Responsibilities

•Design video analysis (e.g., ROI/SOD, content understanding, temporal grounding) and quality assessment algorithms, including database creation and algorithm development/optimization.
•Help design end-to-end video quality optimization strategies combining video analysis, processing, and encoding algorithms.
•Apply algorithms for VOD and live streaming monitoring, including data analysis and objective evaluation.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into production workflows and validate impact through A/B testing.

Key Requirements

•Currently pursuing a PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•In-depth knowledge of video analysis algorithms or subjective/objective video quality algorithms and state-of-the-art technologies.
•Proficiency in at least one of: C, C++, or Python.
•Experience with ML and image processing tools such as sklearn, opencv, and ffmpeg (preferred).
•Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (Tensorflow/Pytorch) and Transformer-based/multi-modal large models (MLLMs) (preferred).
