Job Summary

Join a multidisciplinary R&D discovery team to drive receptor-driven discovery of new bioactive ingredients. You’ll design and synthesize small molecules using organic and medicinal chemistry expertise, partner with Biology and Computational Science teams (including AI/ML), and collaborate with CROs to build compound libraries. You’ll analyze and present chemistry and SAR data, maintain cutting-edge knowledge (e.g., automation), and prepare invention disclosures, manuscripts, and lab reports.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and synthesize small molecules with optimal properties using organic and medicinal chemistry expertise.
•Partner cross-functionally with Biology, Computational Science, AI, and Machine Learning teams to accelerate discovery.
•Work with CROs to maximize synthesis of libraries and specific compounds.
•Stay current on cutting-edge science and technology trends (e.g., automation) to propose solutions and close technology gaps.
•Analyze and present chemistry and SAR data and prepare invention disclosures, publication manuscripts, and lab reports.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

•At least 5 years of post-PhD experience (or equivalent) in organic or medicinal chemistry in an academic, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical environment.
•Knowledge of modern medicinal chemistry and lead optimization techniques, including multi-parameter bioactivity and physicochemical property optimization.
•Strong synthetic and analytical chemistry skills to design and implement multi-step synthesis and characterization of complex molecules.
•Familiarity with molecular modeling and other computational tools to speed discovery of bioactive small molecules.
•Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly in a multidisciplinary environment.
