Key Responsibilities

•Design: Lead the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports memos, and engineering design documents for water infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
•Collaborate with Client and AECOM counterparts for analysis of dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, tunnels, pipelines, flood protection systems, and conveyance facilities.
•Deliver Quality: Oversee and review work produced by others and ensure adherence to quality control measures for timely and accurate results.
•Mentor: Delegate tasks, direct and oversee the work of others and act as a technical mentor.
•Additional work: Ensure compliance of design with applicable standards and regulations and perform peer reviews; conduct site visits to active construction sites.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 86,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience focused on water resources and/or transportation projects
•California Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
•Valid Driver’s License
•Experience with design of water resources and/or transportation projects
•Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and clients
