Job Summary

Oversee material engineering activities for Ashghal infrastructure projects within the GEC Supervision department. Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable Ashghal requirements by reviewing and approving material testing and inspection plans. Conduct site visits to monitor processes and guide on-site teams, collaborate with stakeholders to keep timelines on track, and manage/mentor material engineers while reporting findings and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee material engineering activities for Ashghal projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
•Review and approve material testing and inspection plans aligned with project requirements.
•Conduct regular site visits to monitor material engineering processes and provide guidance to on-site teams.
•Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to integrate material engineering activities into project timelines.
•Manage and mentor a team of material engineers and provide expert input in project meetings; prepare and submit reports.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Material Engineering (or related), with a Master’s degree preferred.
•Minimum 12 years of material engineering experience with strong infrastructure project background.
•Professional registration or certification in Material Engineering is highly advantageous.
•Proven experience managing and overseeing material engineering activities for large-scale projects.
•Excellent knowledge of material testing and inspection techniques and industry standards.
