Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee drivers, equipment, and shipment of wood products at designated locations.
  • •Generate, monitor, and share reports on team performance, productivity, and profitability.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally to coordinate logistics, sales, procurement, operations, and related departments.
  • •Provide leadership to build and develop a high-performing, inclusive team; mentor and motivate employees.
  • •Work with Driver Services to recruit, onboard, train, place, and pay drivers; ensure compliance with DOT and local/state/federal safety regulations and coach drivers on safety events and observations.

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
  • •1–2 years of experience working with commercial motor vehicles and drivers (management experience preferred).
  • •Strong computer skills with experience using modern office software and reporting tools.
  • •Strong leadership skills to build, lead, and retain a successful team.
  • •Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with attention to detail.
