Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee complex electrical infrastructure projects, including review and approval of design plans for compliance with codes and regulations.
  • •Apply electrical engineering techniques across concept development, preliminary/final design, procurement, construction, and operation phases.
  • •Prepare and review electrical calculations (loads, equipment sizing, grounding, short circuit studies, overcurrent coordination, one-line diagrams, protective relaying).
  • •Lead MEP engineering deliverables including budgets, tracking hours/expenses, supervising subcontractors, and managing technical calculations.
  • •Prepare/review plans, specifications, and cost estimates; coordinate with owners and other disciplines; provide guidance and QA/QC leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience delivering electrical design for large capital projects.
  • •Engineer in Training certification.
  • •Proficient in electrical engineering principles and applying them to permitting and project work.
  • •Knowledge of electrical engineering standards and codes including NEC, ICC building codes, and IECC energy codes; proficient with Revit and/or AutoCAD.
