Job Summary

Design and govern Capco BankX enterprise data architecture to ensure well-modeled, secure, high-quality data discoverable for analytics, AI/ML, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with Data Engineers, Scientists, and Governance teams to define standards, optimize data flows, and align with PDPA and internal policies, leveraging Azure Data Services, Databricks, and Lakehouse concepts.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and maintain logical and physical data models across domains (e.g., customer, product, transaction, risk) and establish data architecture principles, naming conventions, and modelling standards.
•Design semantic layers, data marts, and feature stores to support analytics and AI use cases, collaborating with Data Scientists.
•Work with Data Engineers to implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Services, Databricks, and Delta Lake and optimize storage, partitioning, and indexing for performance and cost-efficiency.
•Partner with Data Governance and Privacy teams to embed classification, lineage, and consent management into the architecture and ensure integration with Unity Catalog and Azure Purview.
•Provide guidance, templates, and standards to enable analytics and engineering teams to build on a unified architecture and promote data literacy across technical and business teams.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
•Strong expertise in data modeling, SQL, and distributed data systems.
•Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse architecture.
•Familiarity with metadata management, data governance, and privacy frameworks.
•Ability to design for scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
