Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and maintain logical and physical data models across domains (e.g., customer, product, transaction, risk) and establish data architecture principles, naming conventions, and modelling standards.
  • •Design semantic layers, data marts, and feature stores to support analytics and AI use cases, collaborating with Data Scientists.
  • •Work with Data Engineers to implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Services, Databricks, and Delta Lake and optimize storage, partitioning, and indexing for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • •Partner with Data Governance and Privacy teams to embed classification, lineage, and consent management into the architecture and ensure integration with Unity Catalog and Azure Purview.
  • •Provide guidance, templates, and standards to enable analytics and engineering teams to build on a unified architecture and promote data literacy across technical and business teams.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
  • •Strong expertise in data modeling, SQL, and distributed data systems.
  • •Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse architecture.
  • •Familiarity with metadata management, data governance, and privacy frameworks.
  • •Ability to design for scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
