Job Summary

Partner with Arista Account teams to deliver pre-sales technical systems engineering support for enterprise/financial service customers across the NYC Metro area. Present Arista networking solutions, conduct network architectural reviews, and design data center and campus (including Wi‑Fi) architectures. Lead proof-of-concept testing, support outage escalations with TAC/Dev teams, assist with RFP/RFQs, and author technical white papers while feeding insights back to Product and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide pre-sales technical systems engineering support to Arista Account teams for enterprise/financial services customers.
•Conduct Arista product presentations for Open Networking Data Center and Cognitive Campus (including Wi‑Fi) solutions, plus CloudVision and security/fabric monitoring offerings.
•Perform network architectural reviews, identify customer pain points, and propose improvements and Arista-integrated solution plans.
•Architect and design data center and campus network solutions using Arista design best practices; support POC testing and functional/failure validation.
•Support RFP/RFQs, outage escalations with TAC and Dev teams, and author white papers; provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering.

Salary: USD 112,000 - 160,000

Key Requirements

•BS/CS/CE technical degree required.
•Minimum 5+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience focused on data center, campus, and Wi‑Fi solutions.
•Expert experience with routing and switching and L2/L3 protocols, including Ethernet, VLANs, IP routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN, VxLAN, multicast, and QoS.
•Recent experience in leaf-spine architecture design.
•Preferred: Sales Engineer/Pre-Sales SE/solutions architect or network consulting experience and network industry certifications (e.g., ACE L5/7, CCIE R&S, JNCIE).
