Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Fleet Collection & Deployment: Collect, transport, deploy, and reposition Bird scooters throughout assigned service areas to ensure fleet availability, operational efficiency, and compliance with local regulations.
  • •Vehicle Inspection & Basic Maintenance: Perform routine inspections to identify damaged, unsafe, or malfunctioning scooters and ensure they meet Bird safety standards before redeployment.
  • •Route Planning & Operational Efficiency: Plan and execute efficient collection and deployment routes using Bird systems and tools to optimize productivity and meet service-level expectations.
  • •Compliance & Safety Procedures: Follow all company safety protocols, traffic laws, local regulations, and procedures while operating vehicles and equipment.
  • •Data Reporting & App Usage: Accurately use Bird operational applications to track scooter status, complete tasks, document damages/issues, and maintain real-time records.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • •Previous experience in delivery, warehouse, logistics, rideshare, fleet operations, or related field is considered an asset but not required.
  • •Ability to safely operate a vehicle and transport scooters/equipment in varying weather and traffic conditions.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • •Comfortable using smartphones, mobile applications, GPS/navigation tools, and operational software systems.
