Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare electrical deliverables (Single Line Diagrams, cable calculations, cable block diagrams, plant layouts, cable routing, cable containment design, switchgear configurations) and produce bill of materials in accordance with international standards
  • •Draft electrical specifications and review contractor design submissions against Employer Requirements, specifications, and standards
  • •Collaborate with equipment vendors on design packages and participate in vendor design evaluations
  • •Assess the condition of electrical assets and their designs for capability, risk, opportunity and intervention, interacting with owners, operators and investors
  • •Work in a hybrid setup with potential site visits in the UK and occasional overseas travel

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a relevant engineering subject with significant post-graduate experience in electrical design, operation, maintenance or testing
  • •Working towards or holding UK ECUK Chartered (CEng) level and Corporate Member of IET
  • •Ability to lead the development of electrical deliverables and assess assets under construction or in operation
  • •Experience on maritime projects (e.g., container terminals, offshore wind, ro-ro)
  • •Proficiency in English, good communication and ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines and vendors
