Manage procurement activities for a section or department, driving results across cost, methods, and employees. Evaluate vendor reliability, run vendor surveys, and oversee vendor selection programs and budgets. Review and approve purchases up to defined limits, negotiate major contracts, and develop procurement policies and procedures. Coordinate purchasing with engineering and manufacturing to maintain inventory levels and monitor subcontract cost, schedule, and performance.
