Job Summary

Senior DFT/Testing leader responsible for defining and driving a world-class DFT roadmap for AMD’s Central DFX group. Lead cross-functional collaboration with Design, Product Engineering, and Quality; drive adoption of the DFT strategy across SOC/PDG; evaluate Build vs Buy and oversee internal tool deployment; coordinate with external EDA/ATE partners and validate post-silicon ROI.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive adoption of and ensure compliance with the company-wide DFT strategy with SOC and PDG, aligning with Design, Product Engineering, and Quality.
•Advocate for maintaining testability features as designs progress through stages such as floor planning and timing closure.
•Follow up with post-silicon experiments to analyze the effectiveness and ROI of DFT features to justify ongoing usage.
•Influence and partner with external EDA and ATE companies to shape the DFT ecosystem.
•Evaluate external tools and decide Build vs Buy; lead the implementation of internal DFT tools when Build is chosen.

Key Requirements

•Extensive knowledge and experience in Design-for-Test (DFT) and testing for semiconductor designs.
•Proven ability to define and drive a world-class DFT roadmap strategy.
•Strong collaboration skills to drive enterprise-wide cross-department alignment across Design, Product Engineering, and Quality teams.
•Experience developing, deploying, or leading internal DFT tools and workflows.
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field (preferred).
