Key Responsibilities

  • •Enforce safe working procedures and health programs to protect employee safety and health in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations.
  • •Ensure mine operations comply with environmental regulations.
  • •Manage and motivate operating crews to meet production objectives at minimum cost while administering policies fairly and equitably.
  • •Coordinate, schedule, and monitor load haul mining activities and communicate with Engineering, Geology, Maintenance, and Mill Operations to realize development/production/grade objectives.
  • •Oversee development and training of personnel and support hiring, discipline, and terminations as required; act as General Supervisor during absences.
