Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and operate MCP server platform components and agent orchestration tooling used by hundreds of ClickUp employees.
  • •Own observability for production servers including logging, distributed tracing, and latency SLOs; contribute to on-call runbooks.
  • •Develop multi-step autonomous AI agents to automate GTM workflows (lead qualification, deal room assembly, onboarding, support triage).
  • •Architect prompt engineering frameworks, tool-call schemas, and evaluation harnesses for predictable AI behavior.
  • •Collaborate across teams on API standards, data contracts, and integration patterns; mentor junior engineers toward higher leverage.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,000 - 210,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production systems.
  • •Expert-level TypeScript and Node.js development skills—idiomatic, typed, testable server-side code.
  • •Strong Python for automation, data pipelines, and tooling for AI/ML projects.
  • •Meaningful AWS deployment experience (Lambda, Bedrock, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, IAM, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch).
