Job Summary

Lead missile systems engineering for hardware and software requirements and integration, spanning the full Systems V lifecycle. Update and maintain system and subsystem requirements, create and manage system architecture and interface definitions, and drive verification and validation to ensure requirements are assessed. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and suppliers, conduct trade studies, support troubleshooting and failure investigations, and mentor engineers while taking a go-to role for program systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities

•Update, maintain, and improve system and subsystem requirements and requirements documentation for development and production efforts.
•Create and manage systems architecture, interface definitions, system integration, and system verification using Cameo in collaboration with product teams and SMEs.
•Lead verification and validation efforts to ensure requirements are assessed during verification and qualification testing.
•Conduct trade studies and present analytical results to customers.
•Provide technical oversight for troubleshooting and failure investigations and mentor engineers using core systems engineering skills.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., electrical engineering, systems engineering, physics, or math) and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
•Experience with software, firmware, configurable logic, hardware, integration, and/or test.
•Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and/or requirements development, requirements management, requirements verification, integration and test.
•Experience with system architecture, verification strategies, and planning, including developing and refining CONOPS.
•Preferred experience working on missile programs in the defense industry and/or with software or firmware verification and qualification testing.
