Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain the macOS client at the heart of the endpoint security solution, keeping it fast, resilient, and unobtrusive on users’ Macs.
•Help shape feature and service architecture and provide technical direction on complex projects.
•Review functional and technical requirements to identify gaps, propose simplifications, and communicate ideas with cross-functional teams.
•Take accountability for code quality through rigorous code review and pull-request feedback, ensuring unit testing and guidelines are met (or help formulate them).
•Develop and improve build, deployment, and test automation; identify and resolve technical debt; investigate customer issues escalated to engineering; and track emerging macOS/security technologies.

Key Requirements

•A degree in a software engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
•Significant hands-on software engineering experience with specialist depth in at least one technical area.
•Hands-on macOS platform development with proficiency in Swift and Objective-C and/or C++, plus experience building systems-level or endpoint security software.
•Experience with macOS development including launch daemons/launch agents, unified logging, and XPC components.
•Demonstrable experience directing agentic AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code) by framing problems, challenging output, and reviewing code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
