Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain UK-aligned compliance frameworks and lead regulatory readiness for market entry, licensing, and ongoing supervision.
  • •Build policies and controls for AML, KYC, data privacy, consumer duty, distribution, and claims-related compliance; run risk assessments and remediation plans.
  • •Establish monitoring, testing, reporting, and operationalised control testing, including internal audits and compliance reviews.
  • •Oversee consumer protection and business integrity, including fairness, transparency, product compliance, marketing reviews, pricing governance, and distribution oversight.
  • •Partner cross-functionally and deliver training/guidance on regulatory implications for new products, partnerships, and distribution models.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 100,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of compliance, risk, or regulatory experience in financial services, insurance, insurtech, or fintech.
  • •Deep understanding of UK regulatory frameworks, including FCA rules and consumer duty requirements.
  • •Experience designing policies, conducting risk assessments, and managing complex compliance programs.
  • •Proven ability to build compliance frameworks and controls from scratch for digital platforms, distribution, or insurance products (preferred).
  • •Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with regulators.
